Proceeds from the events associated with the Humble Rodeo benefit the:
which benefits all the students in the Humble Independent School District.
The donations received by the Foundation are used to grant the wishes of many deserving teachers. The Foundation provides grant opportunities to all staff, faculty, nurse, etc. of the HISD. Every staff member of HISD has the opportunity to present a grant for; innovative classroom projects, teacher and staff development programs, and grants to enhance curriculum and technology within the district, etc. The possiblities are only limited by the imagination of the grant writer. The goal is to support programs and initiatives that fall outside the scope of the normal operating budget. Then in every April the Foundation brings together a group of people from our community to review the grants and award the most unique, most innovative and grants that will effect our children in a everlasting way. Then in May the Prize Posse takes route to the schools in the district delivering checks to the award winners. What a blessed day it is. Below are some pictures of the past years of the Prize Posse.

This 501 (c)(3) public charity is governed by a Board of Directors made up of citizens from every segment of our service area. The money donated to the Foundation will be used to benefit our students district-wide. |
