The Pit Building Challenge is a free opportunity for welding classes of the Humble Independent School District to enter a formal competition, using class time to build a pit from scratch and keeping within a set budget. All teams must register, keep track of receipts for materials and keep a journal of the project, along with a full drawing with dimensions of the project for the judging session. It is an awesome event.
