The Humble Rodeo & BBQ Cook-Off is powered by an incredible community of people who give their time, energy, and talents to help make it all happen — and we’d love for you to be part of it!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Check out the committees below to see where your talents can make an impact:

BBQ Cook-Off Committee – Help with check-in, ticket gates, running ice to teams, information tents, setup, tear down, and more.

Banners Committee – Install, remove, and properly store banners for future events.

Cowboy Camp Committee – Assist cowboys and cowgirls behind the arena with meals, rest, and hospitality.

Gates Committee – Manage the integrity of gates at the BBQ Cook-Off and Rodeo performances to ensure proper entry and exit.

Guest Services Committee – Staff the Information Tent and help guests with locating cookers, lost and found, medical needs, phone charging, and other questions.

Kids Q Committee – Support the planning, organizing, and judging of the Kids Cook during the BBQ Cook-Off.

Sanitation & Recycling Committee – Maintain a clean environment for spectators and assist with post-event cleanup alongside local high school ROTC groups.

Sensory Night Volunteers – Assist guests during Sensory Night, held the Thursday before the regular rodeo performances, providing a quieter environment for those with sensory sensitivities.

Ticketing Committee – Help at ticket booths for both the BBQ Cook-Off and Rodeo performances to ensure smooth entry for all guests.
