2026 Humble Kids Q Contest - Friday January 30th

2026 Humble Kids Q Cook-Off will be sanctioned by the CBA and will qualify for the Kids Point Chase.

Kids Q Cook-Off is an great event for kids. It is a chance for kids to show of the skills they have learned from watching their parent BBQ! Kids Q is open to boys and girls, 5-10 years of age and 11-15 years of age. Parents should enter via the sign-up on our website and pay the $25 entry fee for each child entered. There will be 20 entries per age group, for a maximum of 40 total entries. The first 20 entries per age group will be able to cook.

Important Times

5:00 PM – Check In / Cooks Meeting
5:30 PM - Kids Q meeting
6:00 PM – Grills Lit / Cooking Can Start
6:30 PM – Steak Turn-In (Judging will follow when all entries are turned in)
7:00 - 7:15 PM – Open Turn-In (Judging will follow when all entries are turned in and Steak is completed)
7:45 PM – Awards
8:30 PM - Premises cleared
