2027 HUMBLE BBQ COOK-OFF REGISTRATION INFORMATION
GENERAL REGISTRATION OPENS OCTOBER 1
Registration will open to all cook teams on October 1, 2026.
Beginning October 1, all remaining cook-off spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration system electronically time-stamps each registration and that time stamp will be used to determine registration order.
Returning teams that did not register during the September 21–30 advance period will be included in the general registration pool beginning October 1.
ADDITIONAL COOK-OFF SPACES FOR 2027
The Public Plaza will not be included in the 2027 event layout. This change will allow the Humble Rodeo & BBQ Cook-Off to add additional cook-off spaces to the grounds.
2027 REGISTRATION FEE
The Humble BBQ Cook-Off space fee has remained at $300 for several years. For the 2027 event, the Executive Board has approved a $50 increase.
2027 Cook-Off Space Fee: $350 per space
Pricing for port-o-lets, wash stations, and other add-ons will remain the same as the 2026 Cook-Off.

October 1, 2026 — General Registration Opens; Remaining Spaces Filled First-Come, First-Served
January 29–30, 2027 — Humble BBQ Cook-Off
These registration changes are being implemented to provide a smoother experience for our cook teams and to reduce the computer system issues experienced during 2026 registration.
